Outbound Activities | Taiwan Activities Tour

Taiwan Activities Tour - Tourism has become more and more important in recent years due to rapid economic prosperity and continued improvement in living standards. In order to meet increasing needs, the government has been engaged in tourism development. Such development not only can provide more variety for leisure life, but also can enrich its content and help expand people's horizons. In addition to opening five national parks, the government has also mapped out its medium and long term tourism development programs. The major objectives are (1) the planning and development of scenic spots, (2) the protection and utilization of tourism resources, and (3) the management of these tourist attractions. In order to develop tourism and travel in Taiwan, the Provincial Government is continuing to organize the planning and construction of new scenic areas, the West Coast highway travel and leisure system, the Central Taiwan North south highway travel and leisure system, and hot spring scenic areas; to strengthen measures to ensure travel safety; to encourage counties and cities to set up tourism associations to strengthen tourism industry management and employee training; and to actively promote the healthy development of the domestic travel industry. Tourist now calls Taiwan "Tiger Of Asia"

Some of the important activity Tours to Taiwan are enlisted below :

Kaohsiung - Taiwan

Kaohsiung - Taiwan Kaohsiung is the second largest City in Taiwan, and has undergone something of a transformation in recent times, helped in part by the Taiwanese TV series "Black and White" which is also now a full-length movie and the World Games in 2009. The brand new stadium along with the development of the subway system, and perhaps most importantly, the cleaning-up of Love River have started to attract an increasing number of visitors.

National Palace Museum

National Palace Museum - Taiwan - The National Palace Museum houses the world's largest collection of priceless Chinese art treasures, one which spans China's nearly 5,000-year history. Most of the museum's 620,000 art objects were part of the Chinese imperial collection, which began over 1,000 years ago in the early Song Dynasty.

Yushan - Taiwan

Yushan - Taiwan - Yushan (Jade Mountain) in Taiwan can be called the highest mountain in East Asia and the Far East. To find higher peaks you have to go west to the Himalayan outliers in Sichuan, north to Kamchatka in Siberia, or south to Borneo. This area where Yushan stands supreme includes Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Indochina, and all of eastern China.

Alishan - Taiwan

Alishan - Taiwan -  During the Japanese colonial occupation, Alishan became famous for its rich forests, especially the vast fields of Taiwan Yellow and False Red Cypress. Alishan is also famous for its cherry blossoms, as well as its sunsets and even more beautiful sunrises, when the sun rises slowly above a sea of clouds. The Alishan Forest Railway is one of the only three remaining alpine railways in the world.

Sun Moon Lake

Sun Moon Lake - Taiwan Sun Moon Lake, situated in Nantou County’s Yuchi Township near the center of Taiwan,  is the island’s largest lake. This beautiful alpine lake is divided by tiny Lalu Island; the eastern part of the lake is round like the sun and the western side is shaped like a crescent moon, hence the name “Sun Moon Lake”. Its crystalline, emerald green waters reflect the hills and mountains which rise on all sides. Natural beauty is enhanced by numerous cultural and historical sites. Well-known both at home and abroad, the Sun Moon Lake Scenic Area has exceptional potential for further growth and recognition as a prime tourism destination.

Love River

Love River - Taiwan Almost all big cities have a beautiful river passed by, this is specially true in Kaohsiung. Love River lies across Kaohsiung for times of sunrises and sunsets. Love River, known as Dagou River in Ching Dynasty, was renamed by Japanese as Takao River. The river was also called Kaohsiung Canal. After restoration of Taiwan, the riverbanks were beautified with greenery works and developed to be park areas, decorated with pillars chained with iron rope. The area becomes a romantic place for lovers to date with each other, therefore, the river was reputed as Love River.
